Play Therapy Sessions & Meetings

One-On-One Play Therapy

Therapy sessions are charged at £55 per session and last 45 minutes. Sessions usually take place in the child’s school. If suitable, sessions can also be offered within a home or rented space. To prepare for therapy, keep track of progress and bring therapy to a close I suggest parent / teacher meetings take place at the start and end of the intervention, as well as at an agreed interim point. All meetings are charged at the hourly rate (£55 p/h). If you are referring a child who is in care, please contact me for an initial consultation and a quote.

Group Play Therapy

Group Play Therapy (4 children max.) is offered within primary school settings. Please contact me for a quote.

Report Writing

I charge my hourly rate for writing a Play Therapy Report for schools and parents. Reports are written on request and (usually) at the end of therapy.

Initial Consultation

I am happy to offer you an initial 20-minute phone or in person consultation free of charge to see if Play Therapy could be a good fit for you and your child, and to answer any questions you may have.

I am also happy to offer a free “Play Therapy at School” presentation with a Q & A session for teaching staff at educational settings.

Referrals

I welcome referrals from schools (teachers, SENCO’s), parents and legal guardians, social workers, GP’s, and clinical psychologists.

Play Therapy can only be undertaken with the permission of the person(s) holding legal guardianship of the child.
